Private Dog Training Lessons
Dog Training In Your Home or At Our Facility
Private one on one dog training lessons are scheduled in your home or at our facility to meet and fit your demanding schedule. We offer off leash reliable obedience in four (4) weeks, meeting once a week at your convenience. We work with you to train your dog to be a civilized and obedient companion capable of being off leash with you whenever law allows such freedom. Your dog will learn to come to you off leash whenever you call it regardless of distractions. Your dog will never pull on its leash and learn to walk at your pace while you enjoy the walk. No more will your dog jump up on you or others and it will learn to sit, lie-down and to stay in those positions until you release it. It will also learn to 'go to a place' and remain there until you release it. Your dog will also learn to be 'quiet' on command putting an end to excessive and inappropriate barking. Your dog will learn to stop chasing cats or cars, stop digging and stop chewing your possessions.
We not only teach your dog all these things but we teach you how to use them to improve the daily routine of living with your dog in the house. All types of behavioral issues are addressed as well and include everything from separation anxiety, dog crate training, dog potty training, to aggression and every thing in between.
We also offer a 2 week (meeting once a week) program at our training center or in your home. Dog learns to come when called off leash, walk on a loose leash without pulling, and the 'manner commands' of, quiet, off, wait and leave-it.
In addition, all students in this program receive FREE attendance at our group obedience classes for the life of the dog in order to help keep them functioning at top performance.
Dog Training Through Our Residency Board & Train Program
This program is ideal for those that want a reliable, civilized dog but are unable for a variety of reasons to attend group dog training classes or private lessons. Your dog will be our guest for a three-week period of time. We will teach your dog to come when called under high-level distractions while off leash, sit/stay, down/stay, go to place and remain until released, and to walk on a loose leash without pulling. In addition, your dog will learn to stop jumping up on people and counters, stop chasing cars, learn to live peacefully with your cats if you have them, stop excessive inappropriate barking on command, stop digging, stop chewing your possessions, learn to wait at the door for permission to go out without bolting through, and to stop mouthing or nipping. We also deal with specific behavioral issues your dog may have whether it be separation anxiety or aggression and everything in between.
While your dog is our guest, it will spend time learning its manners in our home. It will accompany us on errands, train in residential and downtown settings, perhaps visit various veterinary lobbies, visit pet friendly stores, attend group classes for socialization and confidence training and enjoy hiking and swimming on over 100 acres available to us. We will train and care for your dog as if it were our own!
Dogs completing this program are also encouraged to attend group dog training classes at no charge to help them maintain a high level of reliability for the rest of their lives.
We offer 2 Board and Train programs; a Full 4-week program or a Partial 2-week program.
Our Dog Training Facility
Our dog training center is located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and is within convenient driving distance of Wisconsin Dells, Lake Delton, Reedsburg, Portage and other central Wisconsin cities and towns.
